(sm)all Things Shall Pass

The photo series was shot during Holi, the indian festival that celebrates the victory of "light over darkness". It is a portrait of Ukena's Brazilian born spiritual teacher Prem Baba who is blowing bright colored powder into the air. The photo series is the remaining artifact of a film project and a potential reminder that we have nothing in our control and all is fleeting. What at one moment is a seemingly bright red color is a few seconds later already gone with the wind until we blow again.
