Ole Ukena is a multidisciplinary artist from Berlin that interweaves traditional textile and embroidery techniques to generate a visual language derived from and speaking to the subconscious. The viewer in his work is part of the piece by further imagining the lines and shapes into potential narratives as well as into in-between spaces of abstraction / figuration that lie beyond the realm of words.
